I met Allyson and Jake years before briefly at a restaurant while watching an ASU football game. We had a mutual friend and hung out that day and literally never saw each other again. UNTIL fours years later my four year old got diagnosed with apraxia of speech and guess who became his speech therapist? Allyson.
She was amazing, encouraged and rallied my baby boy and us as we navigated this new world. Truly a Godsend. I am ever so thankful she was brought into our lives she helped my son in more ways than she could possibly ever know.
It was also incredible to watch Allyson and Jake become parents to Dezi (who by the way is one of my favorite humans).
They hired me when I first started. I mean like baby photographer with my crop sensor and my nifty fifty and lucky for me they have just kept hiring me and we got to create this magic on a warm summer night.
Some people you just know are supposed to be in your life and these people? They are supposed to be in my life…. I always feel so blessed I get document their journey through life!
